MUCH ADO ABOUT SPRING '18 TRENDS

Florals in Spring, (NOT) Groundbreaking

In addition to vibrant, saturated shades of yellow, orange, green and purple, Japanese prints are blooming on every outfit! Additionally, Mandarin collars and kimono styled cuts graced the runways and will soon be gracing your closets! Get ready Spring, here the satins and sheen come.

Sequins are here to stay

Last, but certainly not least, SEQUINS. That’s right, ladies and gents, this dapper and classy-meets-80s trend is hanging around. We thought it would just be a winter trend, but summer sequins are definitely a thing.

The Plastics are back

Nope, it’s not just a Mean Girl reference, plastic booties and jackets are back. I think I might have to bring some plastic accessories to London in April because this trend is perfect for the Brits. Rain, rain go away, am I right?!

Check Mate

Plaid is coming back in a big way for the Spring, and it doesn’t have to be in a flannel shirt! I’ll be bringing this trend to London as well! It is, in fact, the home of the ever-checkered dresses and jackets.

Fringe Benefits

I love this trend, weather it’s made with leather, suede or a cotton dress, I’m all about the fringe. Bring on the 70s vibes for any music festival or rehearsal dinner in the upcoming Spring and Summer months!

Sheerly Spring

Let’s be transparent. Sheer materials are both risque and dainty depending on how you wear them. Add a blazer and crop top under a black or white sheer top to work, and take off the blazer for a night on the town! You know the signature naked dress from S&TC?! We don’t neccessarily need to achieve that look, but definitely appreciate the effortless and ubiquitousness that comes with that kind of dress (insert many winky emoji here!). Add a ribbon in your hair or around your wrist as a bracelet to pull off this fancy, but romantic trend.
