MUCH ADO ABOUT Volez, Voguez, Voyagez

Last week while I visited friends in New York, I also had a date night with one of my favorite cities! It was lovely, there was just me, the big apple, wine and a fashion exhibit. It's the little things, am I right!? The beautiful thing about New York is even if you're wandering around on your own, you are never truly alone.

There is always an event, sample sale or job that allows you to immerse yourself into the fast-paced city. I chose to go to the Louis Vuitton exhibit at The American Stock Exchange was a lovely compilation of history, ambition and (obvi) fashion. I really enjoyed viewing all the first trunks that were created in the mid 1800s, and am so fortunate that I don't need a huge trunk to travel by boat whenever I need to get somewhere! My favorite part of the exhibit was the train ride simulation that made you feel like you were almost standing on a vintage train car with trunks, beautiful, changing scenery and clothes (of course)!

The building tour before the exhibition entrance was beautiful because visitors could see the charming center where the American Stock Exchange began. The ceiling of that building is like no other!

Last, but not least, the final room of the exhibition showcased newer and iconic Louis Vuitton fashion designers. The beautiful, pink Louis Vuitton embossed wallpaper was a spectacle with a large screen projected on a wall to view celebrities in the iconic dresses.
